Born and raised in the cultural heart of Kolhapur, Prathamesh Patil founded Rajeshahee with a singular mission: to protect, preserve, and promote the authentic craftsmanship of his homeland.
Growing up surrounded by the rich heritage of Kolhapur, Prathamesh recognized that while the "Kolhapuri" name is world-famous, the true, traditional art of local artisans deserves a global stage. With a deep-rooted passion for manufacturing and regional history, he founded Rajeshahee to bridge the gap between ancient craft and the modern world.

"I have always believed that life is best lived when we stay connected to our roots. Outside of the business, I find my peace in the 'Slow Living' philosophy—whether it’s spending time at my farmhouse, enjoying the quiet rhythms of nature, or savoring a traditional home-cooked Kolhapuri meal.
This love for a grounded, authentic lifestyle is the soul of Rajeshahee. When I say we can handle even the most difficult custom designs, it’s because I personally oversee the craftsmanship. I want every customer to feel the same pride I feel when I wear a pair of genuine leather chappals or see the shine of a hand-crafted Saaj. For me, this isn't just a brand; it’s a promise to keep our heritage alive for the next generation."
